Starting a new adventure!

I cannot remember a time when art was not a part of my life. My mom was an art teacher before she was a stay at home mom, and she always encouraged our creativity. I have many fond memories of pretending to be Jackson Pollock splattering paint all over our basement floor, or trying to make my own pottery wheel out in the garage(it didn't work). And despite not wanting to be like my mother during those awesome teen years(sorry mom), I too got a degree in art education. After college, though, I took a class to learn stained glass. This led to an amazing opportunity working for a company in Michigan restoring church windows. A few years later, I met my husband, and then I too became a stay at home mom. We have two lovely daughters, and I am so grateful to my husband that I have been able to be at home with them.
I have talked about doing this for a long time, and now that my kids are a little bigger, it feels like the right time to start. So with my husband's encouragement(and crafty building skills), here we go!
